What Is Your Opinion on Upselling Detailing Services?

We try not to upsell customers unless they genuinely need the service. Personally, we do not like when businesses try to increase the price for no real reason, so we follow the same principle with our customers. Honesty and transparency are core values at Prime Shine Mobile Detailing.
For example, if someone does not need a headlight restoration, we simply do not push it. If a customer only needs one seat shampooed, we often just take care of it as part of the service without charging extra. We believe that doing right by our customers builds long-term trust and loyalty — and that is far more valuable than a one-time upsell.
This approach has earned us loyal customers across Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, and the entire Hampton Roads area. Our customers know that when we do recommend an additional service, it is because their vehicle genuinely needs it — not because we are trying to pad the bill.
